About Merri Pontar-Rawski

Owner and Broker of Pontar Real Estate and a Bay Area native, Merri joined the family team with her father Matt in 1994. She attained her Salesperson license in 1997 and became a Broker in 1999. She was extremely lucky to learn from a man who stresses honesty and trust. She was taught her true business integrity by sharing her father’s years of valuable experience. Her energy is contagious when she embarks on a project and will stop a nothing to get it “just right”.

Merri has continued to grow the company by working with new clients and keeping generations of family within her management. She successfully has marketed and sold properties for many of her long time clients. Many choose Pontar Real Estate lead by Merri to sell their property as she carries the most knowledge and details about their asset. It is the lasting relationships we have that established that create the basis of mutual trust. At Pontar Real Estate we treat every property as if it was our own. 

When it comes to the sale of one of the buildings or homes we manage, we guide our clients through the process making it comfortable and enjoyable. We have an excellent team of support and provide our clients the most updated marketing, professional photos and websites. We collaborate and offer direction to achieve the highest return, which often includes overseeing large or small improvements. Merri and Jon run the business together and have four grown children, four loving pets who all keep them happily busy. You will find them enjoying the Bay Area’s beautiful surrounding areas – Carmel Napa and Tahoe, the favorites. She is an avid walker enjoying the many Bay trails with exceptional views from her hometown. The Bay Area has and will continue to be their happy home.
